Robotics and Coding Programme
The Future's Bright

At Go Learn STEM, we provide schools with a variety of fun, active and educational programmes and workshops that expose students to science, technology, engineering and maths through the hands-on application of robotics and coding. Through carefully selected experiential activities and team challenges, the students will learn to design, build and programme a variety of models to follow their code. Our educational programmes are designed to encourage curiosity through activities that challenge, engage and inspire primary students towards a future in STEM.
Led by one of our coaches, GLS will provide a 2-4 hr teacher training programme as part of their CPD. GLS will licence out the teaching materials, unit books and technology resources that will enable the school to deliver a comprehensive coding and robotics curriculum for all primary students.

Go Learn STEM provides schools with an active, fun and educational experience to learning robotics and coding.
All lesson plans are custom-made by experienced international teachers and are designed to meet the specific learning outcomes of the school. Chat with one of our teachers today and let us create a custom made programme that's right for your school.

Working with Schools
The coding and robotics programme is a great way to make computer programming fun and active for primary-age students. By building and coding a variety of robotic models, students can watch in amazement as their models come to life and follow the code they write.

Our first step is to identify the student's age, ability and any specific learning outcomes that may complement the school's curriculum. This information will allow us to create worksheets that enable students to document the learning outcomes.
Students will build their models using the latest Lego® Education Spike™ hardware and apply the intuitive drag-and-drop Scratch software to write the code.

Each lesson exposes students to a specific science-based learning outcome. For example, students can learn about different types of energy when programming a ferris wheel or discover different ecosystems when building an Arctic snowmobile.

Students can build and code a model in an hour class. Each model that they build and code has to complete a challenge that naturally involves critical thinking and promotes problem-solving skills. At the end of each lesson, students are encouraged to give feedback and summarise their experiences, therefore developing presentation skills and building confidence. Whether it is a 1hr workshop or an 8-week after-school programme, our staff are ready to create an active educational experience that meets the learning objectives of the school.
