Training

GLS Coaches

GLS does not teach the students directly. Instead, we provide the schools and education centres with "coaches" who will train your teaching staff to deliver our coding and robotic programmes.

Our coaches are there to support, assist and instruct the teachers on how to effectively deliver the GLS educational programmes. Our coaches are experts on the curriculum and have extensive knowledge and experience working with the Lego® Education hardware and software.

The unit books and resources we provide are designed to be easy to use, intuitive and offer guidance for teachers at every step. Teachers do not need prior knowledge or experience in programming or science-related subjects. We would however recommend that all first-time teachers to the programme start with the beginner level.

Traning your teachers

GLS will provide experienced and professional teachers to train staff members on how to deliver the programmes. The staff do not need prior coding knowledge or experience. The duration of the training course is 4 hours and can be completed in either one or two days. The centre will be charged per hour, not per participant. The classes are limited to 4 teachers at one time. GLS will also provide at least one observation lesson, whereby the GLS trainer will attend a class to observe, assist and give feedback regarding the quality of delivery. Additional observations can be arranged if needed. The observational visits are usually carried out in week 2 or 3 of the programme and are necessary to ensure that the content of the curriculum is being delivered correctly. The teacher will receive one-to-one constructive feedback after the lesson. The total cost of the 4-hour training course and observation is 2.5 million vnd
